Explore our Fly Fishing and Ice Fishing Services.

Fly Fishing

April 1 - October 31

We offer a 4 hour tour ranging from walk-in, canoe, float tube, and/or outboard boat fishing options. The most common method is with our brand new, 16-foot Jon boat or a canoe.

You’ll enjoy the beauty of Acadia’s fresh water lakes and ponds while fishing for brook trout, landlocked salmon, and small mouth bass. We target trout and salmon in the spring and fall, and we switch to small mouth bass in the hot summer months. All experience levels are welcome, and we are happy to teach casting techniques before or during our adventure.

Some ponds in the area can only be reached by foot. There are a variety of larger ponds that can be reached by car and have boat launches for easy access. Small stream fishing is available upon request in the months of April and May.

Ice Fishing

January 1 - March 31.
Variable based on ice conditions.

We offer a 5 hour tour. When you arrive at the pond for a day of ice fishing, we have a warm hut and a warm drink waiting for you. All the bait and tackle is provided, and we will show you the ins and outs of using tip-ups as well as jigging rods.

We will cook a lunch and enjoy the beauty of the snow-covered mountains of Acadia. Excellent fishing conditions (trout are very active under the ice at certain times) make it an unforgettable experience. Salmon, small lake trout, and brook trout are great table fare, and since we employ bait fishing tactics, big salmon and lake trout are possible.

All fishing tours are exclusive to the members of your group and customized based on your expectations and wishes. We personalize the tour based on your experience and mobility and the size of your group. We will work together to ensure we collectively make the most of your experience.

Max group size is 3 people.

Both fly fishing and ice fishing are great ways to learn about fish behavior and fishing techniques. Either choice is a great one.
